Wave Thread designed to evenly distribute stress

Standard Threads concentrate stress on the first thread. The Wave Threaded bolt shown on the first page were designed to evenly distribute across all of its threads with the unintended result of increasing its tensile strength over 25% based on Finite Element Analysis. What is structurally different is the Wave Thread pulls through the bolt instead of the outside of a cylinder shape.
This thread allows the application choice between more strength or less weight.
